for some months now on a regular basis I have been receiving alerts from Norton Security
%26gt;%26gt;Rule "Default block Bla Trojan Horse" blocked (ip address)
Inbound UDP packet
Local address service is (port number)
Remote address service is (Ip address)
Process name is 'N/A'
%26gt;%26gt;YES...its being blocked I know, thats not the problem.... the problem is that the REMOTE address is my IP address in every case. Should I be concerned about this? Or could these alerts be false positives....I have shut down a few non essential programs which ran on startup, thinking maybe one of these programs were recording false positives, but the problem persists....
I have:
Ad -Aware
asquared free
Spybot search %26 destroy as well as Norton Antivirus in the security package, all of which I run on a daily basis. %26 update regularly. None of these programs are picking up anything.
Are there any very savvy techies out there who may be able to offer an explanation as to what may be causing this. Thnx.
Norton Security issue....Plz Help.?avast
here is Symantec's (Norton's) site that talks about the BLA Trojan Backdoor.

What you want to do is UN-CONNECT your computer from the network during scans or boot into Safe Mode without networking and run the scans.
When you are connected to the network and running the scans, the Trojan just immediately re-infects your system.
