How can I uinstall Smart Popup Blocker?

when i try to uninstall either thru add/remove programs or the programs uninstall I get this message:

File "C:\Program Files\SmartPopupBlocker\unins000.dat"

does not exist. Cannot uninstall.

this is the free trial version and I cannot get rid of it it is interfering with my d/ling anyi virus ware my Comcast home page it keeps clicking and won't let me in I am lucky to get here and also my antivirus expired and I need a good free version of something til I can afford to purchase a new one.please some one help I cannot afford for several reasons to have a sick computer

There are three ways to uninstall/remove a program.

1) Stop the program by right clicking on the icon in the taskbar and then try to uninstall in add/remove program.

2) Boot your computer in safe mode by pressing F8 and selecting safe mode from the menu while restarting , then follow step 1.

3)Remove the program from startup menu as follows

(start %26gt; run %26gt; type msconfig

press ok. Click on startup, uncheck it from the list. click on apply. click on ok. press restart. Check the window that appears after restart, press ok)

Then go to control panel %26gt; add/remove program to uninstall.

If nothing of the above works. Then The best way to remove unwanted programs which you can not remove from add/remove dialog in control panel on your computer is to remove it from registry. If you are comfortable with manually editing registry, otherwise use registry cleaning software like RegScrubXP to remove the entries of offending software from registry and then use a cleaning software like ccleaner to remove other files such as exes, dlls etc created by the offending program.
