How can I uninstall Symantec files?

I installed Norton Antivirus some time ago...and once my free trial was over, I tried to uninstall it, but parts of the software were left behind.

I have attemped to use Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel, but that doesn't work.

Also, there are lots of freebie programs that claim to remove stubborn files, but these are all BS.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't really want to re-install my OS (although I know that is the only way to really clean out your PC!), so I was hoping to get some answers so that I wouldn't have to take such a drastic measure.

Thanks, in advance, for your help :)

Hy

Nothing to worry...!

If u want to reinstall or want to use the Norton its to tuff to do. I always use Norton Internet security, its makes ur computer slow but its a high protected software i ever use. If u unstall the hole soft from add/remove program its not unstallled fully there was some registry files also in ur OS. U should use "" Norton removal tool" to do so. U can download free from Norton's website or download .com or just type to in google search it take u from there .I think its helps u. if u like my answer please rate me . Take care

Super easy way: Go to my computers, search for Norton Antivirus, If there is a folder open it up and highlight everything in there, hit backspace, then go back and delete the empty folder. The thing is already uninstalled so nothing should be left.
